Carmen Villani, Hammonton Democratic Council candidate, he'll listen to you

I'll be honest. When I was young, growing up in Hammonton, I didn't care about politics or controversial issues. Looking back, I know I turned a blind eye on a lot of good people with smart, fresh ideas.

Now that I'm older (and wiser), I take more time to listen. I understand all people, regardless of background, are capable of seeing solutions through the lens of their own life experience. What a shame it would be if this valuable wisdom was lost trying to break through tightly closed minds.

My running mates -- Joe Ingemi, Mike Ammirato and Jim Scarpato -- chose me specifically for a skill that I am very proud of -- a sharp ear. I value my own life experience, but I recognize the overwhelming importance of gathering external information, assessing it and, once a decision is made, ensuring government transparency.

As a member of Town Council, I plan to do just one thing -- listen. When my running mates and I are elected this November, I ask all Hammontonians to speak their minds. As long as I'm in office, your words will never fall on deaf ears.

Carmen Villani

Carmen is correct, you learn more from listening than you do from talking. Go Carmen!

He'll mostly listen to Bobby Capoferri.  That always goes well for the taxpayers.

How did Bobby get in this conversation? Opps I forgot you are jealous of Bobby because he has a lot more money and power than you. Remember no matter how much money you have and no matter how much power you think you have someone else always has more. Maybe if you move to a deserted island you can be the boss and that should make you happy and it would make us happier!

What ever happened with the ethics complaint that Mayor Ingemi filed against Capp?

Who is Carman Villani?

I have never heard of this guy. An independent running against 9 council people? I need a scorecard for this horserace.

I guess because YOU don't know him that means he won't do a good job on council? Nothing could be further from the truth. He will represent the Hammonton Democratic Club and the taxpayers of Hammonton with distinction.

I've personally met and talked to all 3 mayoral candidates and 8 of the 9 council candidates in the last 2 months.  I regularly vote for who I think is best for Hammonton and don't blindly vote for one party over the other.  This year though, for the first time ever, I will locally vote straight Democrat.  It was easy choosing who I want for Freeholder and mayor.  We need Mento and Ingemi definitely!
